Never give out your full name or social security number or even phone number because these can all be looked up and/or traced online. Don't give specifics such as where you like to hang out since a predator can go there to look for you. Take plenty of time to get to know someone and don't fall for the "soulmate" routine just because they sound like they have a lot in common with you. Remember that a predator can read your profile, ask a few questions and get a sense of what you want to hear. There are lots of wonderful relationships that began online but there are also alot of very hurt people out there who got burned because they thought they were dealing with someone they could trust and ended up with their identities and their hearts stolen instead.
